Here are the meeting minutes for the Board of Directors meeting in September

Greeters Wanted!!!!!!!!!!
Our greeters are the first contact we have with guests who visit our church. So we want this to be Excellent. Unfortunately, we have some gaps in our schedule where we could use more smiling faces.

So if you're interested in helping with this important First Impression and can come to church 15 minutes early (for either service), please contact Melissa Poszywak (734-478-4463).  We'll be happy to add you to one of our greeting teams.

Well plans are getting well under way for the Single Mom's event on April 30, 2011.  Tanya Kilgore is heading this up and we had a good turn out to the luncheon held at the bowling alley las Sunday and food was very good.  There is a basket in the entrance way to put donations in for Tanya's table which she has for quarter mania.  She has items that she sells and the money goes for the single moms day.  So if you have anything that you would like to give, please place in the white basket for Tanya's fund raiser.  Also see Tanya if you would like to help, and I am su

Life groups are going very well this semester.  We have 14 life groups and 103 people engaged.  This doesn't include the core classes that are now being offered.  Each person could help promote life groups by sharing their experiences with others and also by inviting them to your group.  This is really a great avenue to invite a friend that perhaps is not going to church now, get them in your life group and let God invite them to church.

This is a new blog to help with communications between Board members and the church family.  It is our hope that you will check back often to stay up to date on what is going on.
