Special Events

Every year Discovery Island holds special events to invite unchurched children to church through none other than A PARTY!

Vacation Bible School (VBS) is usually held the first week in August.  This is an outreach to the community held for 5 days on the church grounds.  We offer food, fun and Jesus!

Fall Festival is a celebration of fall usually held the Saturday before Halloween, offering games, prizes and of course....CANDY!

School's Out Party is held the last day of school.  We invite children and teachers to a celebration of the last day of school.  Kids get to dunk their favorite (least favorite) teacher in the dunk tank, face painting, food, lazer tag, waterslides, and much more.

*All events held by Discovery Island are FREE!!!!!!  We have a wonderful church family that is willing to donate their time, money and donations to ensure kids can have a fun time, free of charge.
